This notice is for members of Double
Rock Baptist Church and applies to general information collected
or submitted on the Double Rock Church Website.
Your privacy is important to us. To
better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining
our general online information practices and the choices you can
make about the way your information or your likeness is
collected or used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it
available on our church website homepage via a link.
Protecting the privacy of the very
young is especially important. For that reason, we will never
maintain information on our website from those we actually know
are under 13 without the express consent of the child's parent
and/or guardian. If you would like to give you permission,

Any Double
Rock Member’s likeness and or full name may be used on the
church website, solely at the Webmaster’s discretion or a
member’s sir name may be used. If you do not wish to have your
full name displayed or your likeness used in photos and or

Various documents or forms on the
church website may request your e-mail address. We use this
information to answer the e-mails we receive. This information
is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with any
outside parties. We may however add you to our Double Rock
Website mailing list to receive the "What’s New On The DBRC
Website!" This publication provides information regarding new
postings to the Double Rock Church website.
The Double Rock Church website does
NOT seek to identify who you are; however, the webmaster
has enabled “cookies" on our web site. This programming allows
our webmaster to gather statistical information for the purpose
of designing a website environment that works best with the
software and operating systems that access the church website.
Programming is also coded to allow the webmaster to count the
number of visitors to our site. This information is shared with
third parties and te server of our Internet Service Provider may
also collect statistical information.
If at anytime Law Enforcement makes
a request for information about our members by order or
subpoena, the Double Rock Baptist Church Administrator will be
contacted to assist and cooperate with law officials.
On designated pages, you may donate
monetarily to this institution, order sermons or music on
cassette tape, CD, video tape or DVD. All monetary purchases
are processed via PayPal, our preferred merchant account.
PayPal is committed to a high standard of information security.
PayPal maintains expert physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your
nonpublic personal information. PayPal tests their security
systems regularly and they also contract with outside companies
to thoroughly audit their security systems and processes.
Various departments/ministries of
the church may seek to obtain personally identifiable
information through online application forms, online surveys,
interest lists, inquiry forms, and e-mail subscription forms.
Any and all information gathered in this manner is solely for
the purpose and express use of the department or ministry making
the inquiry.
NOTE: The only private information
maintained on the website may be due to the information freely
provided by the individual via our "Share With Us" page which is
and online guestbook. A notice is displayed in the area to
advise all visitors of this procedure. The Double Rock
webmaster, at her sole discretion may or may/not purge or edit
out personal information from the "Share With Us, guestbook
page.
We will only use non-identifying
information to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell
an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain
area on our website. We will not provide e-mail lists or
disclose anything that could be used to identify any visitor to
advertisers.
The Double Rock Baptist Church as a whole
or in part is not responsible for the unknown dissemination of
any information or likeness of any kind that was obtained
without the simultaneous written permission of the Double Rock
Baptist Church Pastor and Webmaster. Neither is the Double Rock
website nor any of their associated ministries, departments or
entities directly or indirectly responsible for the
continued dissemination of any and all hard or soft copy
materials associated with this website or church. Neither will
the Double Rock Baptist Church or any of their associated
ministries, departments or affiliates be responsible for the
continual use of your information or likeness that was pirated
or taken from the church website or by any and all associated
publications or by any and all electronic means. The Double Rock Baptist Church and website
in whole or in part and all of its associated ministries,
departments and affiliates are here and forever released from
any and all liabilities or implied liabilities.
This policy is reviewed periodically
by the Double Rock Baptist Church Pastor, Webmaster and Ministry
Chairperson and is subject to change. Any changes will be posted
on the church website and a hard copy will be made available to
the Double Rock membership, upon request.
